To: Walter Logeman Subject: Usage guidelines for JUNGNET From: "L-Soft list server at UGA (1.8c)" Date: Fri, 5 Dec 1997 02:56:07 -0500 subject:Welcome to JungNet! Welcome to the e-newsletter, JungNet. The newsletter is sent out once a month via e-mail to inform those in the Jungian community about the goings' on around the world. Topics covered are often Internet related, such as the creation of a new home page by an analyst and the announcement of a new Jung page by an individual or an institution or Jung Society. However, the newsletter has become a way to keep those interested in Jungian activites around the world abreast of what's going on: when are events, who's going to be there, and if you didn't get a chance to make it, how it went. There are now over 1400 subscribers and over 250 of those are Jungian analysts. If you ever want to make an anouncement about an activity, event, speaking engagement, or if you just want to sit back and see what's going on, then this newsletter will interest you. My name is Matthew Clapp, and I am an undergraduate student in Cognitive Science at the University of Georgia. I am also the webmaster of the C.G. Jung Index. If you would like to continue the adventure please stop by the Jung Index at http://www.jungindex.net You have been included because you were suggested as someone who would be interested, or you subscribed via the Index. In any case, I respect your online time and Internet privacy. If you would prefer not to receive future "Jung on the Internet" newsletters, please send a message to listserv@uga.cc.uga.edu saying "signoff". I hope this medium provides you with an enjoyable and new form of recieving information about a subject that we all have in common. If you have events, information, or requests you would like to submit for future issues please send them to jungnet@uga.cc.uga.edu and I will include them in the following issue. Enjoy! Sincerely, Matthew Clapp
